Watch a sneak peek for tonight’s episode of Red Band Society, in which Zoe Levin explains why Kara is so intent on attending her high school’s Homecoming dance.

In Red Band Society season 1, episode 4, Kara (Zoe Levin) attends Homecoming with Emma (Ciara Chota), Leo (Charlie Rowe), and Nurse Brittany (Rebecca Rittenhouse).

“Kara feels like she’s losing her mojo, so she begs Nurse Jackson to go to homecoming,” Levin says in the video preview. She goes on to explain that in this episode, “you get a glimpse of what makes Kara feel powerful and why she needs that power. She really wants to be feared, it’s like her one desire.”

Meanwhile, Ciara Chota explains that her character Emma gets talked into going by Nurse Brittany (Rebecca Rittenhouse).

“Emma has never been the popular girl, she’s always been more of a fly on the wall,” Chota says.

Finally Octavia Spencer (Nurse Jackson) previews her favourite scene of the episode, which is a fight between her character and Dr. McAndrew (Dave Annable).

She says, “Nurse Jackson kind of oversteps her bounds because the two of them are friends. It’s definitely a window into who they are to each other.”

Are you looking forward to seeing the characters deal with these new challenges? And what about poor Jordi (Nolan Sotillo), who begins his treatment this week?

Red Band Society season 1, episode 4, “There’s No Place Like Homecoming,” airs tonight at 9/8c on Fox.
