Red Band Society has cast Hustle actor Adrian Lester as a doctor at Ocean Park Hospital. Find out more about his role!
TV Line reports that Red Band Society will be featuring British actor Adrian Lester in a recurring role later this season.
Lester will play Doctor Lawrence Naday, who is described as, “a disheveled, world-renowned international neurologist with unconventional methods.”
TV Line can further reveal that Naday will “make a big impression” on the hospital staff, “but most notably on Nurse Jackson.”
Does this mean Jackson (played by Octavia Spencer) will get a love interest? Or is he there to make life difficult for her?
As a neurologist, we can probably expect him to get involved with Charlie (Griffin Gluck)’s treatment – and as we know, the young boy might appear to be doing better than he really is, thanks to Nurse Jackson’s meddling.
The freshman Fox dramedy has been on a short hiatus, but will return next week with season 1, episode 6. In the following week’s episode, we’re set to learn more about Nurse Jackson’s backstory, and discover what she gave up to work at the hospital.
Adrian Lester is best known for his roles in Hustle and Girlfriends. He has also had smaller roles in The Day After Tomorrow, and the British TV series Merlin.
