It’s a wonderful world with Jake Peralta and the rest of the detectives of Brooklyn Nine-Nine back in action. Here are just a few more reasons why we love this show so much.

Reasons 46-54 why we love ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’

46: Jake’s insult-pliments toward Amy

How could you not love them. Jake loves to compliment Amy Santiago, but they don’t always come off as complimentary as he thinks they do. It’s endearing.

47: Boyle’s theme songs for things: Exhibit A

What can we say? This enthusiasm for, well, everything is incredibly infectious.

48: Jake slips up and admits he’s thought about ‘their’ sex tape

In what could end up being one of the cutest moments in their crazy-long build up toward admitting their feelings, Jake stumbles and calls it “their” sex tape rather that just Amy’s. Swooning ensued.

49: This smile. How could you deny him anything?

Seriously. Look at this face. How could you say no to this face? Captain Holt must have will of steel to stay stern while looking at this face.

50: Amy’s notebook flip

Impressive to say the least. Amy’s got skills.

51: Awesome guest stars! Or at least this awesome guest star

It’s hard not to love Bradley Whitford, even when he’s playing a total jerk like Captain Peralta.

52: Amy’s double tuck. It’s cute.

53: This deleted scene from ‘Captain Peralta’ in which Holt explains that crazy word problem

That problem didn’t seem all that solvable in the episode, but this deleted scene proves that Captain Holt is all over this. Now, if this explanation is easy for you to follow, you’re pretty much a genius.

54: Gina saving the day… and feeding the rats

Last, but never least, we have to have a little Gina. She makes every moment funnier, especially if Santiago is involved.
