The Ratchet and Clank video game series’ theatrical adventure is in production! Watch the very funny teaser trailer here!

Ratchet and Clank‘s movie will tell the origin story of how Ratchet and Clank met each other.

Although not much is revealed in it, watch the hilarious HD teaser trailer below.

The trailer shows Captain Qwark complaining that there isn’t anyone around to spice up his adventures. Ratchet and Clank arrive and respond that all of the series’ resources are being put towards an animated version of Ratchet and Clank. Qwark upsets an animator, represented by a computer mouse, who makes the title card fall on top of him.

The movie will maintain its main three voice actors from the game series, with James Taylor returning as Ratchet, David Kaye as Clank, and Jim Ward as Qwark.

When asked if they were considering adding in any other celebrities to their voice acting cast, Executive Producer Michael Hefferon responded, “With our script locked and film now officially announced, we are in discussion with potential celebrity talent – many of whom are big fans of the game.”

The movie will use new models, with the in-game ones serving as stand-ins for the drafts of the movie, according to IGN.

Check out more material for the movie on it’s official Facebook page, Twitter, and webpage.

The movie will release in 2015, although a more specific time frame was not given. For more information from an in depth interview with IGN.com, click here.
