We still have one more week to refine our theories for the Quantico winter finale, since the show isn’t airing a new episode tonight.
When Quantico returns next week, Alex Parrish will be in a race to stop the terrorists’ attack on New York City. So far, she’s been working alone, but she recently picked up some allies in Harry, Léon, Sebastian and Dayana. The only question now is, can she actually trust them?
Now that Ryan has probably been recruited by the AIC at the Farm, we might finally get some insight into who’s behind it, and who could be working with them. Hopefully none of Alex’s new teammates show up in that meeting, or she could be in big trouble. It will also be interesting to see if Ryan and Alex’s relationship can survive this shift, since they’re already on thin ice.
The trailer for Quantico season 2, episode 8, teases “the most shocking betrayal of them all.” We already know that something’s up with Miranda, Nimah and Will, but could the person behind this betrayal be someone different entirely? It’d be pretty shocking if Shelby, or even Ryan, were somehow involved in the scheme. Or, maybe another season 1 character will return as the traitor to shock us all!
In the Quantico season 1 winter finale, the second terrorist attack occurred and Elias was revealed to be involved. It was a huge episode, as many people died and Simon’s life was changed forever, but it didn’t actually reveal anything about who the real terrorist was. Hopefully they change things up in season 2 and give us some real answers.
