We’ve decoded Harry’s secret message from the Quantico mid-season finale and the code could have big implications for his character.

Harry Doyle has been one of the biggest mysteries of Quantico season 2. For whatever reason, we love him, but we honestly have no clue if we can trust him. He seems to be developing a strong bond with Alex at the Farm, but we still have to remember that he’ll always be looking out for his own interests.

In the Quantico season 2 mid-season finale, we finally got some insight into Harry’s life outside of the Farm. Apparently, his mission with MI6 is a little bit more involved than a simple pilot program, as he would have Alex and Ryan believe. He’s been tasked with finding sources inside U.S. intelligence for his agency.

During Harry’s meeting with his handler, who just happens to be his late boyfriend’s sister, he handed her an encrypted note. The contents of the note are shown below.

We cracked the code, and it works out to the following:

Meaning that the note actually goes like this:

FBI UNERCOVER AT THE FTARM INVESTIGATING ROGUE GROUP CALLED THE AIC HVAE MADE CONTACT THEY BE RIGHT

Or, without the spelling mistakes, “FBI undercover at the Farm investigating rogue group called the AIC. Have made contact, they be right.” We considered that the spelling errors and mistakes might also add up to some information, but weren’t able to come up with anything (let us know if you can!)

It’s not the most eloquent sentence we’ve ever seen, but it definitely gets the message across! At first glance, it appears that it’s nothing we don’t already know. We’re obviously aware that the FBI is undercover to investigate the AIC. However, the part about making contact is interesting.

As far as we know, Ryan, Leon and Dayana are the only people who’ve been recruited to the AIC. If Harry’s “made contact” and confirmed the existence of the organization, does that mean he’s been recruited separately? If he’s working for the AIC too, Alex is in big trouble in the future.

It’s also possible that Harry was recruited and decided not to perform the initiation task, but that wouldn’t really fit in with his investigative and curious nature. Maybe he simply found out who’s behind the operation through other means, which would make him invaluable to Alex.

Tune in for the return of Quantico on Monday, January 23 to see more of Harry, Alex and all of your other favorite characters!
