HBO has been overwhelming us with inside Q&A’s with The Newsroom stars. The last two were conducted with Dev Patel (Neal) and Thomas Sadoski (Don), and can now be read online.

Patel sat down to discuss his various TV and film work, and his experiences working on The Newsroom. Fans may remember him from U.K. show Skins, and will be interested to hear him address the differences between his Skins character and Neal. He also mentioned the development of Neal from a small character, to one Sorkin has “tailored” to him.

“The great thing is that I didn’t have to audition to the character of Neal. He wasn’t that big of character when I signed on. I’ve kind of been discovering him as Aaron writes him and he’s kind of molded him from me. …He’s really tailored the role to me in a way which is phenomenal.”

Sadoski answered similar questions to the ones he has been doing on the interview circuit lately (Jim and Maggie, Don as a bad guy, etc.) but we are developing a serious love of Thomas Sadoski so we will take what we can get. Check out his Q&A here.

Remember that HBO also runs a weekly feature where fans can submit questions for show creator Aaron Sorkin each Sunday night following the episode, and he will answer the top five on Monday.

Episode 1×08 “The Blackout, Part 1: Tragedy Porn” airs Sunday August 12 on HBO at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
