Break out your saws, drills, and scraper scoopers. Hypable wants to see your best pumpkin carvings inspired by fandom to feature here on the site in honor of Halloween!

We’ll post the submissions we receive and host a poll for visitors to decide which of the carvings are the best of the best. Since Hypable is an entertainment site, we encourage you to submit carvings that relate to the entertainment and fandom world.

Send us your work by Saturday, October 20 to contest@hypable.com. You must include your name, a description of your carving, and a high quality photo of your work. You may submit two pumpkins max.

An example photo is below. This is the type of lighting and angle we’re looking for!

The two examples you see in this post were created by Hypable editor Joshua. He uses carving patterns designed by ZombiePumpkins owner Ryan Wickstrand and please do check out his selection of carving patterns which can make any amateur look like a pro with some patience, a pumpkin, and a few tools. The winner will receive a $25 Amazon Gift Card.

We look forward to seeing your work!

Not so good with a pumpkin carving set?

We’ve also created a contest over on our forums for those less savvy with a carving knife. Hop on over to the Hypable Forums to join in on the workspace decorating contest!

We want to see which of our readers has the most dec’d out Halloween workspace, whether that’s fake webs or a bunch of Halloween plush. The winner of that contest will receive a $25 Amazon Gift Card, and will be notified via the forum message system, so registration there is crucial. Let’s see how creepy your workspace is!
