After receiving an ‘R’ rating in the US last week, the BBFC have rated Ridley Scott’s Prometheus ’15’ for “strong violence, gore, threat and horror.”
That sounds like the kind of film fans wanted to see! Some fans are still not content, as they hoped it would be rated ’18’, like Alien, the film it is apparently a prequel to.

Prometheus will be released in the UK on June 1 and the US on June 8.
