Once The Doctor, always The Doctor. Sylvester McCoy entertained Whovians at Dragon Con this weekend with an impromptu Doctor Who reading.

Sylvester McCoy was The Doctor from 1987–1989. He has the dubious distinction of being The Doctor when the BBC took Doctor Who off the air after almost a three decade run. So was the show’s demise his fault, or had a number of factors like poor writing and a non-existent budget helped to kill the show?

Well this weekend McCoy appeared at Dragon Con in Atlanta, arguably the premiere convention devoted solely to fantasy in the world. He delighted the audience with a cold reading of Matt Smith’s Pandorica speech.

What do you think of McCoy’s performance? Would you like to see him make a reappearance a la Time Crash for the current show?
