Today, ABC Family announced that fan favorite Tyler Blackburn will return to Pretty Little Liars for the show’s upcoming fifth season.

Fresh off the cancellation of the spinoff show Ravenswood, we learned today that Tyler Blackburn will be returning as a series regular to Pretty Little Liars, reprising the character of Caleb Rivers. His first appearance back will be when the series returns for its new season this summer.

The breaking news was first reported on Behind the Curtain, a YouTube series exclusive to ABC Family. Make sure you subscribe to their channel to stay updated on all your Pretty Little Liars news!

We’d be lying if we said we hadn’t been hoping this would happen ever since we heard of Ravenwood’s cancellation. Many fans will also be happy to hear this news not only because Caleb has been missed, but because we’re not too sure how we feel about Hannah “running into people’s faces” all the time. Her words, not ours.

There has been no confirmation if any of the Ravenswood plot will carry over into Pretty Little Liars, but hopefully there won’t be too much of an adjustment when he comes back to Rosewood.

Before we can get too excited about Caleb’s return, though, we still have a huge season 4 finale this upcoming Tuesday, March 18. We’ve been “promised” we’ll be getting answers this time around, and all we can hope is that they aren’t going to just lead us in the wrong direction like they always do.

Are you excited to see Caleb back on ‘Pretty Little Liars’? How about a Haleb reunion?

Pretty Little Liars returns for it’s fifth season on Tuesday, June 10 at 8 p.m. eastern/pacific time on ABC Family.
