ABC Family combines the Olympics and Pretty Little Liars with Olympic gold medalist Missy Franklin appearing on the show.

According to a press release, the Olympic 4-time gold medalist will be guest-starring on an episode of Pretty Little Liars in the later part of Season 3.

Franklin will appear as herself and talk to Emily (Shay Mitchell) about swimming. Not too bad to get advice from an Olympic gold medalist.

Franklin was a media darling of the U.S. Olympic Swimming Team, winning four gold medals and one bronze. She holds the world record in the 200 meter backstroke as well as American records in the 100 meter and 200 meter backstroke.

Franklin is not the first 2012 Olympian to schedule appearances on television post-Olympics. Fellow Olympian swimmer Ryan Lochte will be seen in the CW’s 90210 on October 29 and NBC’s 30 Rock this Thursday October 18 in the episode “Stride of Pride.” Olympic gold medal and silver medal gymnast McKayla Maroney is guest-starring on the CW’s Hart of Dixie. Olympic two-time gold medalist Gabby Douglas will be seen on an episode of the CW’s The Vampire Diaries.

The next episode of Pretty Little Liars is its Halloween special, “This is a Dark Ride” which airs October 23 at 8 pm EST on ABC Family.
