Pretty Little Liars looks to further explore Spencer’s (Troian Bellisario) unstable mental health state in the Radley Sanitarium in the March 12 episode “I’m Your Puppet,” as seen in new stills and the synopsis released by the ABC Family show.

As evident in the synopsis for “I’m Your Puppet,” the drama will continue to heat up on Pretty Little Liars:

As ‘A’ continues to play games, the stakes are raised higher as each girl is forced into difficult positions. Aria starts to seriously contemplate her relationship with Ezra as his new family situation continues to eat away at her. Hanna is thrown into the middle of Caleb’s family drama when Jamie’s shady past comes back to haunt him. Emily is determined to prove Spencer wrong in hopes of helping her, but she might not be ready for what she finds. In the end, will the Liars be able to get out of their sticky situations or will ‘A’ have them right where he/she wants them? Meanwhile, Spencer searches for answers about Mona’s time in Radley Sanitarium.

Cracks first started to show in Aria (Lucy Hale) and Ezra’s (Ian Harding) relationship in this week’s Pretty Little Liars episode “Hot Water” where Maggie (Larisa Oleynik) seems to come between them. In clips for next week’s “Out of Sight, Out of Mind,” Spencer reveals to Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Aria the truth about Toby’s (Keegan Allen) allegiance. It looks like two episodes later, Emily is still caught up on the issue.

Do you think Spencer voluntarily admitted herself or do you think she attempted suicide as the pictures for “Can the Circle Be Unbroken” suggest? This episode will be executive producer Oliver Goldstick’s directorial debut. Marlene King directed “Misery Loves Company.”
