Pretty Little Liars season 4, episode 2 has released new clips, stills, and the synopsis for Tuesday’s episode “Turn of the Shoe” in which two of the girls’ lives are threatened.

The synopsis reveals that Ezra (Ian Harding) and Aria (Lucy Hale) will continue to be on the rocks while Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Mona’s (Janel Parrish) lives are in danger.

“A” makes a drastic move which leads to potentially devastating circumstances for Emily in “Turn of the Shoe.” Mrs. DiLaurentis’ presence in Rosewood continues to unnerve all those around her, especially when she gives Hanna a family parrot, whose gift for mimicry provides startling insight into Alison’s last days. Tired of feeling defenseless against “A,” Aria decides to learn self-defense and is intrigued by her sexy instructor. Meanwhile, Toby shares a heartbreaking secret with Spencer, and Hanna makes an alarming discovery regarding her mom.  And to complicate matters even further, “A” nearly kills the newest PLL — Mona.

The stills reveal Emily talking to Shana (Aeriel Miranda) while sporting a nasty bruise, and she is next seen on a stretcher. What do you think happened to Emily?

The stills also show Aria, Hanna (Ashley Benson), and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) looking fascinated with their phones and slightly unsettled out by Hanna’s new parrot. Do you think the Pretty Little Liars are concerned about Emily or some other mystery?

The clips show Spencer and Toby (Keegan Allen) arguing about his decision to exchange the RV for information about his mother with A. Spencer seems upset as the Pretty Little Liars’ leverage is gone. However Toby seems to have a good reason for wanting to know about his mother’s involvement at Radley. What do you think?

Another sneak peek shows Aria learning self-defense with her handsome instructor when she appears to freeze up with trust issues. Do you think he will be her new love interest this season?

The third clip shows Hanna approaching Shana, despite Aria’s warnings, in order to question her about her no-show at Detective Wilden’s (Bryce Johnson) funeral. Do you think Shana and Jenna (Tammin Sursok) are on the A Team? Why do you think she wasn’t there?

The final clip shows Emily injured only a day before Rosewood High’s swim meet while she and Paige (Lindsey Shaw) plan for their bedroom at Stanford. How do you think Emily got hurt? Do you think they’re being a bit presumptuous in their planning?

What are you most excited to see in Pretty Little Liars’ “Turn of the Shoe”? Did you like last week’s season premiere?
