Her character Alison might be very into keeping secrets, but actress Sasha Pieterse has given us one particularly interesting spoiler for the upcoming Pretty Little Liars Halloween episode.

Did you know that Alison and Noel used to be besties? Neither did we!

“They used to have this great relationship. They used to be really friendly. And it’s interesting to see how she carried herself in school before everything started to happen. So you learn a little bit more about her. The episode is called ‘The First Secret’ for many reasons: There’s a lot of first secrets with the girls, with the family, with a lot of things.”

Pieterse herself isn’t sure if Alison is alive or not.

“You get that little bit of doubt because you’ll see something once the dream sequence is over that makes you think that maybe Alison’s there. But it also makes you think that she’s not, at the same time. It’s hard to believe, but I like how they’re tying it in.”

She also promised more answers for fans.

“A lot of big things will happen this season. A lot of things are getting answered, but it will leave a lot more to be answered at the same time. What’s really nice about this is, it’s getting super intense, and it’s almost on a more realistic level because it’s not high school that they’re dealing with. And it’s a lot bigger than they thought it was.”
