President Barack Obama will make his seventh and final appearance on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart this week.

This Tuesday, July 21, Barack Obama will pay one final visit to Jon Stewart’s Daily Show on Comedy Central.

The President has been a frequent guest of Stewart’s over the years, making his Daily Show debut back in 2005, long before he was POTUS.

His most recent appearance was in 2012, during his re-election campaign. Stewart, never one to pull punches, took Obama to task about his debate against Mitt Romney, though they also had time for lighter moments.

President Obama has embraced the media in an unprecedented way: not only has he made more than a handful of talk show appearances since taking office, but over the past year, he’s helped send off long-running, iconic talk shows The Late Show With David Letterman and Stephen Colbert’s The Colbert Report.

We can’t wait to see what Obama and Stewart will choose to discuss during their final tête-à-tête — Donald Trump, perhaps? Iran? Or will they go for a lighter topic?

Jon Stewart is retiring from The Daily Show on August 6, after 12 great years hosting the Comedy Central series.

New host Trevor Noah will take over on September 28, and despite some initial controversy about Noah’s style of comedy, Stewart himself has expressed confidence in Noah’s abilities.

A few weeks back it was revealed that Amy Schumer, Chris Rock and Amy Poehler were all offered the hosting gig, but Comedy Central eventually chose Trevor Noah, a relatively new addition to the Daily Show‘s staff.
