We’re a little over a month away from the Preacher season 2 premiere and in anticipation, AMC has released four new promotional images! Featured are Preacher himself (Dominic Cooper), Tulip (Ruth Negga), and Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun). Check them out below the cut!
The two-night premiere of Preacher’s explosive second season premieres aptly on the Sabbath, Sunday June 25 and continues Monday nights with episode two on June 26.
Additionally, we have fresh blood for the upcoming season bringing some familiar faces to Texas, Heaven, Hell, and everywhere in between. Joining Preacher this season are Noah Taylor (Game of Thrones), Pip Torrens (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Julie Ann Emery (Better Call Saul, Fargo), Malcolm Barrett (Dear White People), Justin Prentice (13 Reasons Why), and Ronald Guttman (Mad Men). Ian Coletti (Eugene “Arseface”) and Graham McTavish (Saint of Killers) will also return for season 2.
As we approach the established comic book territory, we can make some inferences on who these new actors will be playing. We could be meeting Herr Star and his iconic scar next season.

Herr Starr is a former German anti-terror operative and member of The Grail (a secret organization of dedicated to keeping the bloodline of Jesus Christ intact). Since our trio of heathens are searching for God, it’s likely they’ll run into Starr.
