The Power Rangers movie just released brand new photos featuring each Ranger with their Zord!

One of the most iconic phrases in pop culture in the ’90s was “It’s morphin’ time!”

Who could forget watching each Power Ranger announcing their Zord before the giant robot beasts would seemingly appear out of nowhere? Check out the beloved and nostalgic segment below:

Today we are getting our first look at the cast of the Power Rangers live action reboot alongside their Zords and it’s amazing! Below we see Billy with triceratops, Trini with sabre tooth tiger, Jason with tyrannosaurus, Zach with mastadon, and Kimberly with pterodactyl.

Of course, the Zords were their own fighting machines in their own right, but would come together to form the giant Megazord, which typically fought the larger-than-life version of Rita Repulsa’s monsters. Unfortunately there’s no new look at Megazord just yet, but we’re sure the Power Rangers movie will be teasing us with that in the coming weeks.

Not a lot has been revealed about the plot of the Power Rangers movie. We do know that recently Bryan Cranston was cast as the iconic leader Zordon and that Elizabeth Banks will play villain Rita Repulsa. Along with Cranston’s casting announcement came a very hipster themed poster for the movie.

The movie has also come under fire for its portrayal of the female Rangers’ suits, which feature a mini skirt and heels. Filming for the reboot movie has been underway for months in Vancouver, so we should expect to see many more from the movie. With Power Rangers set to hit theaters March 1, 2017, we will likely be seeing trailers for it very soon as we head into the holiday season.

What are your thoughts about the ‘Power Rangers’ Zords? Does this make you more excited to see the film than ever?
