Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling said this morning that she wrote a Patronus test for Pottermore which appears to be coming to the site soon.

The “news” came thanks to a fan who reached out to the author on Twitter:

While some people in the Harry Potter community acted like this was a big revelation, the fact of the matter is that Rowling told us Pottermore was working on a Patronus test back in September.

For whatever reason, this test is taking a really long time to see the light of day.

Rowling continues to be very active on Twitter, frequently replying to fans who ask all sorts of questions. For example, she tried to offer life advice this week:
