The Pokémon Let’s Go Switch bundle will feature both Pikachu and Eevee on the charging dock, and Surfing Pikachu will make a valiant return this fall.

On top of the aforementioned decals, the Pokémon Let’s Go Switch bundle will also come with a Poké Ball Plus controller and a digital copy of Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Eevee!. The Poké Ball Plus controller will come with a digital Mew that can be redeemed in-game. The included Joy-Cons are also themed for Pikachu and Eevee’s color pallets.

The Pokémon Let’s Go Switch games are a retelling of the first handheld Pokémon games, with a particular focus on the details present in Pokémon Yellow. The game intends to run with the hype behind popular mobile game Pokémon Go, as the game will have cross functionality with the Switch title.

Having an HM-slave in your team is now a thing of the past, as for the second game in a row, Pokémon is nixing the need to “waste” a slot out of the four moves a Pokémon can learn for a Hidden Machine move. Certainly a welcome change, this mechanic promises to shake up the formula of our favorite Pocket Monsters.

Instead, your Partner Pokémon (either Pikcahu or Eevee, depending on which version of the game you buy) will be able to do all of the HM moves that you would like it to. In Pokémon Sun and Moon, this made a little more sense, as you could call on Ride Pokémon to fulfill all of your flying and surfing needs. Here, however, seeing a Pokémon that is not winged soar around is bound to look a little bit silly. Pikachu, an Electric-type, can even learn a Water-type move. What a time to be alive.

Pokémon Let’s Go will also feature updated requirements on Gym Leader battles, giving players another added layer of challenge to their Kanto adventures. Both Pokémon Let’s Go titles and the Switch Bundle release this November 16.
