The Pokémon Let’s Go collector’s edition steelbook announcement comes three months after the titles’ initial release.

In celebrating the great sales numbers of the monster capturing Switch titles, Nintendo announced today a Best Buy exclusive Pokémon Let’s Go collector’s edition steelbook. It features designs of both Eevee and Pikachu, with a clamshell hinge and cartridge insert on the inside.

It seems as though the steelbook represents both versions of the Switch game, with Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! and Pikachu! otherwise being sold separately, as is typically standard for dual versions of the Pokémon games.

As Nintendo only gave us a look at the outside of the steelbook, it isn’t clear what the inside contents and design will look like, but it is likely that it will be similar to the design of the once Japan-exclusive steelbook of the games. In the above tweet announcing the Pokémon Let’s Go collector’s edition steelbook, Nintendo simply states that customers of Best Buy will be given said steelbook upon purchasing either a copy of Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! or Pikachu!.

While it is not clear, it could be that the steelbook is packaged separately from the regular boxing of Pokémon Let’s Go. Take a closer look at the steelbook below in a promotional video of the Japanese Pokémon Let’s Go collector’s edition.
