The spookiest town is featured in this year’s Pokémon back to school apparel, highlighting the usual ghosts and ghouls of the Pokémon Tower.

What makes for a better Fall feeling than spooktacular Halloween apparel of our favorite series? The Pokémon Company figured they’d do Halloween a bit early this year with their wonderful Lavender Town Pokémon back to school apparel.

While there are some typical features, such as the backpack, lunchbox, and pencil case, there are also some treats for Pokémon fans, including a ghostly hat, a disappearing decal mug, and a crew neck sweatshirt.

It’s pretty obvious that these Pokémon back to school features are not just for children, as a lot of the accessories and clothing items would fit in well with any adult’s out of school lifestyle.

Check out all of the items in the slideshow below.

My personal favorites are the infinity scarf and yoga pants. They both have post-Fall potential, and would easily accessorize into any Halloween costume.

Sure, it can be said that late August is a bit too early for Pokémon Halloween apparel to be debuting. In my eyes, though, it’s never too early to get into the spooky Autumnal mood.

The Pokémon featured in the back to school items are all from Pokémon Red, Blue, Green and Yellow. Players could encounter them in the game’s famed Pokémon Tower, where the goal was to free the lost spirit of the Marowak brutally murdered by Team Rocket. The ghosts were only visible with the Silph Scope, and after defeating the dungeon, Mr. Fuji rewarded us with with the Poké Flute, allowing us to advance past the two sleeping Snorlax.

The only two missed opportunities in this Pokémon back to school line were the Poké Flute and perhaps some plushies, although with all of the Ghastly and Haunter goodness, we’re not going to complain.
