Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 5, episode 20, “Spiral”:
-Fight or flight? Buffy is done fighting for a bit
-Why did everyone go?
-Do Anya and Xander add anything to the group at this point?
-Spike, on the other hand, adds some value
-This change in Spike is interesting to watch
-Does Buffy change her principles to kill these knights?
-The Whedon-esque language takes some getting used to
-But it’s season 5 and Brittany is still not feeling “horsies”
-PLEASE FUND GILES’ RECOVERY CAMPAIGN
-Ben wants to protect his life
-Does the fact that he is a doctor play into his moral compass?
-Even the hell gods don’t like Glory
-At least we have a backstory for Glory
-Can Dawn exist outside of the key form?

Angel season 2, episode 20, “Over the Rainbow”:
-Watching this episode against Buffy worked really well
-Angel and Wesley’s reactions show how they view Cordelia
-So. Many. Emotions. From. Angel.
Angel and Buffy are both dealing with the end of the world, but one is doing great character work
-Gunn is still rethinking his priorities
-Gunn’s arc is telling an interesting story in Angel
-What do we think about him coming back to AI?
-Lorne’s story gets a bit more meat
-Aggie provides a way for Lorne to look in the mirror for a bit
-ANGEL IN THE SUN!
-But they lost the book. Whoops.
-Cordelia, the cow
-Fred is crazy, but who wouldn’t be after living in a hell dimension for 5 years?
