Superfans: Selina and Natalie
Newbies: Kristen and Brittany

Fun Facts:
Kristen gets to spend some time bonding with her brother who is in town, while Natalie enjoys the lingering joy of watching James Marsters and Charisma Carpenter on Supernatural. Brittany had a hard time watching Angel because she is afraid of the demon faces (trypophobia… it’s real). Selina requested to be on this week because of all things ANGEL!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 4, episode 9, “Something Blue”:
-Riley and Buffy have great hair
-We like Riley outside of the Institute except when he is talking about cars
-Is this episode the start of a new ship? Buffy and Spike!
-Did they live another life in their heads?
-Spike and Buffy hold onto their romantic personalities even in crazy alternate universe love
-Truth talk in the tub, what will the gang do with him once Spike’s useless?
-Would it be a fair fight?
-Spike is still jealous of Angel
-Everyone is so annoyed with Willow, but Spike is in tune with everyone’s feelings
-All demons, vampires, supernatural creatures = evil? Definitely not
-Willow needs a mentor, but not one like Anya’s demon mentor
-AMY! YOU ARE ALIVE… oh, wait
-Xander and Spike, MVPs
-Giles is losing his sight, but it is not funny, it’s tragic

Angel season 1, episode 9, “Hero”:
-Ariana goes to new lengths to impress us by setting the synopsis to the melody of “Holding Out for a Hero.”
-Doyle is Selina’s first TV death
-There is a backstory about Glenn Quinn that is quite traumatic
-Did the Doyle, Cordelia, Angel trio work for us?
-If we thought Doyle was coming back, then did this deflate the emotional impact?
-Watching Buffy and Angel is a whirlwind of emotion
-This is a very dark, enclosed episode, meant to make you feel uncomfortable
-Doyle’s death will advance Angel and Cordelia’s storylines
-Now that Doyle’s visions are gone, what will kick off the procedural?
-Why did they assume it was Angel who would save them?
-Doyle deems himself less valuable than Angel :(
-How do we feel about Cordelia and Doyle now that it’s over and done?
-Natalie makes us face our mortality
-Ariana reminds us that we still have four seasons of Angel
-Would we have liked another new face on Angel as much as Doyle?
-THANKS NETFLIX SPOILERS!
