Superfans: Selina and Karen
Newbies: Kristen and Mitch

Fun Facts:

Karen is a traveling fool who slept with the windows open in NYC and caught some city gunk, but she also saw X-Men: Apocalypse and loved it. Mitch gives a glowing recommendation for AirB&B. Kristen bought Batman stamps and is super excited about them. Selina once had a dog named Zippo, which is almost Zeppo, so it’s topical.

We have a bit of a discussion about this whole Zeppo business to Mitch who was super confused.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 3, episode 13, “The Zeppo”:
-Synopsis
-This was a fun departure from the normal storytelling structure.
-Is Cordy pining after Xander? Or are they just reverting to their pre-relationship status quo?
-Xander learns more about himself in this episode and finds some inner peace.
-This episode helped Mitch see some growth in Xander.
-Michael Cudlitz cuts his zombie teeth here before showing up on The Walking Dead.
-Who else thought they were actually talking about baking a cake?
-Xander and Faith get their freak on. Bow chicka wow wow.
-Cordy and Xander weren’t having sex. We definitely thought they were.
-This says more about Cordelia than it does Xander.
-Karen has some thoughts about Faith.
-Could Xander losing his virginity to Faith cause problems later on?

Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 3, episode 14, “Bad Girls”:
-Let’s talk about Fuffy. Did you see the ship?
-Buffy wants to walk on the Faith side of things for a bit.
-This episode was all about Buffy trying to feel free rather than be weighed down by guilt and worry.
-How does this Slayer-death-calling-a-new-one-thing work? If Buffy died here, would another Slayer have been called?
-Are the Slayers free from rules and laws of the world? SHOULD they be?
-The downside of Faith’s IDGAF philosophy is that she doesn’t care even when she takes a human life.
-The cardinal rule of slaying: Human or not?
-We meet Wesley the Watcher in this episode.
-Wesley is totally the stuffy version of Giles. Especially from Giles’ persepective.
-Obligatory discussion about how gross Balthazar is. Ugh. And we say the word “moisten” a lot. Even worse.
-Is the mayor a big bad? Is he pure evil?
