The oft-rumored Sony Super Smash Bros. style fighter is real. PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale has been officially revealed.

The title is being developed by SuperBot Entertainment and was officially revealed on Thursday’s GTTV.

The character roster announced for the game so far includes “two decades of characters” including Kratos from God of War, PaRappa the Rapper from the PSOne title, Sly Cooper, Sweet Tooth from the Twisted Metal series, Radick from Killzone and a Fat Princess from the PlayStation Network game. SuperBot has also confirmed third-party characters to be announced at a later date will be included in the roster.

Known stages include levels based on the Buzz! series, God of War, Ratchet and Clank and dreamscapes inspired by LittleBigPlanet.

The game is scheduled for release Holiday 2012 with more details to come at E3.
