A new Pitch Perfect 2 trailer has been released, and we see the Bellas singing a few new songs as they battle some new opponents in an a cappella world championship.

Pitch Perfect was one of 2012’s most exciting films, and the highly anticipated sequel now has a new trailer featuring Anna Kendrick and the rest of the singing group as they go global. Watch the new Pitch Perfect 2 trailer below:

The Pitch Perfect 2 trailer reveals that the girls will perform Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” for the President of the United States on his birthday – until there’s an unfortunate accident with Wilson’s character revealing her “down under.” After the Bellas are banned from performing, they ask to compete in the world championship in order to win back their domestic performing rights.

Towards the end of the trailer we see that the girls are also performing “Scenario” by A Tribe Called Quest and Beyoncé’s “Who Run The World (Girls).” While we don’t have a full list of songs they’ll be performing, various previews like today’s trailer are slowly unveiling the set list piece by piece. We’re sure a couple songs will be kept under wraps until the film opens in theaters this summer.

We see Rebel Wilson continuing her reign as one of the funniest comedians in Hollywood, delivering some of the most hilarious lines from the film in this new full-length trailer. Hopefully they’ve left a few of her great jokes for the actual movie.

The a cappella commentators played by John Michael Higgins and Elizabeth Banks also have a couple of great appearances in this trailer, laughing off the Bellas’ idea to compete in the world championship.

Pitch Perfect 2 was directed by Elizabeth Banks, and it’s her feature length directorial debut. The screenplay was written by Kay Cannon, who also wrote the original film. This is a good sign that the film will likely be just as good as the original.

Pitch Perfect 2 will be released in theaters on May 15, 2015.

In related news, the Oscars announced on Monday that Kendrick will be performing a song that they’re billing as an “Only on the Oscars” moment. The actress has already revealed that the song she’s performing is not “Cups.”
