From the amount of Pitch Perfect 2 cameos we spotted, it seems that everyone wanted to be involved in this film.
Pitch Perfect 2 is already packed to the brim with stars, but we found some more. Check out these ten Pitch Perfect 2 cameos to watch out for when you see the film. In addition to the wide-ranging cameos shown above, Pitch Perfect 2 stars a returning cast of Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, Alexis Knapp, Hana Mae Lee and Ester Dean alongside newcomer Hailee Steinfeld. Elizabeth Banks starred in the film as well as directing it, after producing the first Pitch Perfect installment. And even though this was very much a film about women, Skylar Astin and Ben Platt were back as the troublemaking Treblemakers, and Adam DeVine was just a troublemaker.
All together, they make up what sounds like one of the most fun movie casts around, and we saw glimpses of that during the Pitch Perfect 2 press tour. Recently the cast were asked who should play Marvel’s next Spider-Man (because no one can stop talking about it, so why not?). Perhaps unsurprisingly for the cast of such a lady-friendly film, both Banks and Steinfeld wanted to see the role genderswapped. We would definitely pay to see Elizabeth Banks as Spider-Man, and we can’t be the only ones.
