The adorable Pokémon Funko will also retail for slightly lower than others.

The Pikachu Pop! Funko will retail for $8.99 USD, and will sell exclusively at Target starting on July 29.

It is likely that the Pikachu Funko is a test run for other Pokémon Pop Funkos. We can see Funko branching out and making Funkos for the starters Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Charmander, should the Pikachu Funko prove to be a successful venture.

However, this is the Pokémon series that we’re talking about. The chances of us now getting other Pokémon Pop! Funkos is fairly high.

Some other Pop! Funkos that we would love to see from the Pokémon series include Mimikyu, Lapras, Snorlax, and Mew.

With the upcoming release of Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Eevee!, it comes as a bit of a shock to us that there wasn’t a simultaneous announcement of an Eevee Pop! Funko as well.

A trailer for the Pokémon Let’s Go games released today, and features the cover art Pokémon extensively.

Either Eevee or Pikachu will ride on the player’s shoulder during their adventure, depending on the version of the game that you’re playing. You can also customize Pikachu and Eevee’s hairstyle and clothing, making the style of your Pokémon partner completely up to you.

While Target seems to be a high performing retailer for the Funko brand, it would only make sense if the inevitable other Pokémon Funkos would be sold at retailers such as Best Buy and Gamestop as well.

Hopefully, stock for the Pikachu Funko will be enough to meet the high demand already generated for the first Pokémon Pop! Funko.

Variations of the Pikachu Pop! Funko may come about, as the mascot of the Pokémon series remains mega-popular. Some variations we can imagine are Pikachu wearing Ash’s hat, a heart-shaped tail female Pikachu, and a sleeping Pikachu.
