The other day we reported that Matt Smith, Arthur Darvil, and Karen Gillan had been spotted in the Madrid airport. Today there are images of them filming on location, and for fans of the Stetson, it’s back!
The episode in question is a Western-themed one. This location has frequently been used for Westerns as the town resembles the landscapes of Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico. According to the Daily Mail, “The pair will be tackling threats to the planet in a rather special setting in a forthcoming episode, which sees them trading blows with half-robot half-human enemies in a Victorian-era western town”

According to The Radio Times, also starring in the episode is Ben Browder of Stargate fame. He is also joined by, “Upstairs Downstairs actor Adrian Scarborough…as a character named Kahler-Jex. Meanwhile, Dominic Kemp will play Kahler-Mas, with Rob Cavezos starring as Walter.”
