The Vampire Diaries is bringing in Phoebe Tonkin as a werewolf, but will she come between Tyler and Caroline? Read what the actress has to say about it!
In tomorrow night’s The Vampire Diaries episode, Tonkin (who previously starred as Faye on The Secret Circle) makes her debut as the werewolf Hayley, who comes to town looking for Tyler.
But, even though the Klaus/Caroline connection will be growing stronger, according to Joseph Morgan, don’t expect Hayley to stand in the way of Forwood – at least not intentionally.
Tonkin tells TV Guide that, “Hayley isn’t there to do anything bad or mess up anyone’s relationship. Hayley’s a tomboy; she just likes hanging out with the guys!”
The character isn’t coming to town for romance, then, but rather “to find out some things about her past.” Tonkin teases that, “there are people in Mystic Falls holding onto that information that she wants.”
“The Rager” airs tomorrow night at 8/7c on The CW. In the episode, vampire hunter Connor will try to get Jeremy to work with him, while Elena tries to continue living a normal life and goes to school – only to find herself almost unable to control her anger towards Rebekah, who caused her death and is therefore responsible for her transformation into a vampire. On her part, Rebekah tries to reach out to Matt to apologise, and finds herself very alone. This causes her to bond with April, of all people, and we’re very curious about how that friendship could develop.
