SNL kicked off this week’s episode with Kate McKinnon playing right wing Fox News host Laura Ingraham. The sketch included comments about the current political climate.

Jonah Hill’s opening monologue

In Jonah Hill’s opening monologue, he celebrated his fifth time hosting SNL. Joining him in the sketch were other five-time hosts Tina Fey, Drew Barrymore and Candice Bergen.

Wedding proposal gone wrong

In another sketch, Jonah Hill played a guy proposing to his girlfriend, a local weather person. But everything goes terribly wrong, until suddenly it doesn’t.

Fallen teacher

Kate McKinnon played a teacher who fell over during a driver’s education class in one of the more bizarre, yet hilarious, sketches of the season thus far. The sketch also includes Pete Davidson, Aidy Bryant and host Jonah Hill.

Pete Davidson talks Ariana Grande

Pete Davidson stopped by Weekend Update to first talk about the upcoming American elections. But during the end of his segment, he took a moment to seriously address the breakup between him and Ariana Grande. “Sometimes things just don’t work out,” Davidson said. “She’s a wonderful strong person and I wish her all the happiness in the world.”

Maggie Rogers performs

Maggie Rogers stopped by to perform. Check out her performances of “Fallingwater” and “Light On.”
