Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters promotion has been kicking it into high gear lately, and the latest still to be released shows Nathan Fillion as Hermes, the messenger god.

The image comes via @PercyMovies, the official Twitter account for Sea of Monsters. They asked for 1,000 tweets using the #PercyJackson hashtag before we could get a glimpse of photo.

Merely an hour ago the demigods reached the goal, and they released an official still of Nathan Fillion playing Hermes:

Hermes is in disguise as a UPS employee, which is appropriate as he is the god of messengers. He’s also the god of travel and thieves, among other things. In the books, Hermes is Luke’s father and an ally to Percy and his friends. He helps Percy by giving him a quest and offering several magical items, including a thermos that holds winds from the four corners of the Earth, as seen in the recently released trailer.

ComingSoon also brings us a first look at the official poster that should be making its way around the country’s theatres over the coming months.
