The last time we saw Ethan on Penny Dreadful he was hooking up with Dorian Grey. It seems that this week, according to the stills, he’s back to Brona.
While last week’s episode focused mainly on Vanessa and her backstory with Mina, this week we’ll get back to the juicy part of the story: What happened after Ethan and Dorian did the giggity-giggity?
According to the stills for episode 6, “What Death Can Join Together,” Ethan will find Brona (likely in a hospital after having passed out on the street) and hopefully the two will reconnect. Will he tell her what happened between him and Dorian? Unlikely.
We’ll also see Van Helsing on screen again, as he helps Victor and Malcolm out with the cure to the disease they believe Mina suffers from.
The synopsis for the episode reads:
Vanessa’s latest vision leads Sir Malcolm, Ethan and Sembene to explore a plague ship in search of Mina. Professor Abraham Van Helsing reveals to Dr. Frankenstein more details about the creature that has taken Mina. Vanessa’s night with Dorian unlocks something dark within her.
Will yet another member of our supernatural hunting gang sleep with Dorian Grey? We’re surprised she hasn’t already!
