Josh Hutcherson appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America earlier this week and brought with him a new clip from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

In the preview, Peeta (played by Hutcherson) and Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) are on the Victory Tour when he asks her to try and start a friendship between the two.

“I can’t go on acting for the cameras and then ignoring each other in real life,” Peeta tells a silent Katniss. “So if you could stop looking at me like I’m wounded, then I can quit acting like it. And then maybe we have a shot at being friends.”

The clip itself begins at the 1:48 mark during the interview below:

Those who’ve read the book know that after these lines in the book by trilogy author Suzanne Collins, Peeta asks Katniss some simple questions so they can get to know each other more. This is present in the movie as well.

While reporting on this story, we dug up two other new clips from the film which you can watch in the embedded player below. In the first, Finnick and Katniss have their first encounter. In the second, Johanna calls out Katniss for her wedding dress for the interview with Flickerman.

Catching Fire is expected to have a weekend box office in the United States north of $175 million. The film has been receiving positive buzz from critics which has led to great word of mouth. Screenings start in some theaters as early as 8 p.m. tomorrow, November 21. Read our Catching Fire review!
