London is pulling out all the stops for the 2012 Olympics, and that includes booking Sir Paul McCartney for the opening ceremony.

“I’ve been booked,” McCartney confirmed in an interview with BBC Radio 5 Live, the Associated Press reports.

The former Beatle, who performed Monday at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert, will close out the “Isles of Wonder”-themed opening ceremony directed by 127 Hours director Danny Boyle. No other details about the ceremony have been revealed so far.

The London Olympics will take place July 27 through Aug. 12.
