Patty Jenkins, the directorial genius behind Wonder Woman and the sequel, just inked a massive TV deal with Netflix.

Patty Jenkins is doing some pretty amazing things, bringing Themyscira to life in Wonder Woman, not to mention her directorial work on movies like Monster and television shows like The Killing. But she isn’t stopping there, and just landed a huge deal with Netflix.

As Deadline reports, Jenkins has finalized a massive TV deal with the streamer. It’s a multi-year agreement that will have new, Patty Jenkins-produced series coming our way. However, we don’t yet have details about what those show will be.

Of course, this deal comes at a pretty interesting time for Netflix. While it was once this huge dark horse, changing up how television and movies came to audiences, with this rise of giants like Disney+ looming on the horizon, many have wondered what Netflix’s future will look like.

However, in the face of big names and big franchises, Netflix is bringing us exciting, new content from some pretty huge names. In addition to this massive deal with Patty Jenkins, Ryan Murphy and the Obamas are also exclusively teaming with the streamer, and Hillary and Chelsea Clinton are rumored to be working on a deal with Netflix as well.

So while the streaming landscape is an ever-evolving one, it looks like Netflix has figured out a way to keep things fresh. In an age of remakes and reboots, Netflix is bringing a lot of great, original content from some pretty big names. And getting to work with someone as amazing as Patty Jenkins can only bring good things, right?

Channing Dungey, VP of Original Series at Netflix had this to say to Deadline regarding the new deal with Patty Jenkins: “We’re thrilled to welcome Patty Jenkins to Netflix. Her trailblazing work has pushed boundaries and she confidently tells stories that leave an unforgettable mark. We look forward to fostering her many ideas and helping them come to life.”

We’re so excited to see what Patty Jenkins will bring to Netflix, and we’ll keep you posted as more news breaks on the massive new partnership.
