What’s better than a sci-fi movie about space travel? A sci-fi movie about space travel starring two of Hollywood’s hottest A-listers, Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt.
The dream-team awaken early from their slumber in Passengers, directed by Morten Tyldum from a script by Jon Spaiths.
In late September we got the first official trailer for the project and now, a new clip teases the secret Pratt’s character is keeping from Lawrence. Watch:
“There’s a reason we woke up early,” he tells her, referring to the cryo sleep they and the other passengers had been put under to survive the century-long journey from Earth to a distant colony.
Whatever that may be — and whether the pair survive long enough to reach their destination — will be revealed when the movie premieres on December 21!

Here’s the official synopsis for Passengers:
Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt are two passengers onboard a spaceship transporting them to a new life on another planet. The trip takes a deadly turn when their hibernation pods mysteriously wake them 90 years before they reach their destination.
As Jim and Aurora try to unravel the mystery behind the malfunction, they begin to fall for each other, unable to deny their intense attraction… only to be threatened by the imminent collapse of the ship and the discovery of the truth behind why they woke up.
