Comedian Billy Eichner from Fuse’s Billy on the Street will be appearing in Parks and Recreation season six as Donna’s counterpart in the Eagleton parks department.

After spending five seasons getting to know employees of Pawnee, Indiana’s parks and recreation department, Parks and Recreation has been filling the parks department of Eagleton with the Pawnee-ans mirror images.

First came the casting news that Kristen Bell would be portraying Leslie Knope’s “richer and better dressed” equivalent. Then it was announced that the mustachioed Sam Elliott would be Eagleton’s parks director and Ron Swanson’s rival.

Now TV Line is reporting that Billy Eichner, the… uh, energetic comedian behind Billy on the Street will be joining the roster of Eagleton dopplegangers as Donna Meagle’s  counterpart.

Donna is the car-obsessed, ultra-sassy and confident cousin of Ginuwine in the Pawnee Parks department. It stands to reason that Eichner’s character will share a few of these qualities (maybe his cousin is another early 2000s R&B artist. R. Kelly?)

Schur said that the sudden influx of Eagleton parks characters will arise from a storyline in which both Pawnee and Eagleton engage in a joint venture.

Schur also teased that they’ve selected Tom Haverford’s Eagleton counterpart already but don’t want to spoil the “concept behind it.”

Between an Eagleton-Pawnee partnership and the gang’s trip to England, it’s shaping up to be a jam packed season already.
