Is it too early to be excited for Halloween? The sixth installment in the Paranormal Activity series will visualize the spirits for the first time in the franchise’s history.

Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension hits theaters this October, and the first trailer for (what Paramount says is) the final movie in the franchise looks like another good thriller.

The Ghost Dimension follows a couple of PBR-drinking men after they find some tapes in their basement which depict a young girl…. who can talk to them through the television. Creepy! They later discover an old camera which lets them see the “activity” floating around the house. Even creepier! And because this is Paranormal Activity, there’s a young girl who becomes possessed and is inevitably doomed.

Being able to see the spirits will definitely bring an extra thrill to the Paranormal Activity series. So long as the ghosts are designed right, their appearance on screen should be just as creepy as when they’ve been invisible in previous installments.

The Ghost Dimension opens one week before Halloween on October 23, 2015.
