Rugrats fans who just can’t get enough of the Paramount+ revival can officially look forward to a season 2.

On Tuesday (September 21), Paramount+ announced that it has officially renewed its Rugrats revival for a season 2.

As Paramount+ pointed out in its announcement tweet sharing the good news with fans far and wide, word of a revival comes ahead of the streamer gearing up to drop a slew of all new episodes of the series in October.

“The babies are back for more! #Rugrats has officially been renewed for a second season on #ParamountPlus,” they tweeted. “And check out seven brand new season one episodes premiering October 7.

New episodes of Rugrats first hit Paramount+ on May 27 of this year.

The revival of the beloved 90s Nickelodeon animated series finds original series stars E.G. Daily (Tommy Pickles), Nancy Cartwright (Chuckie Finster), Cheryl Chase (Angelica Pickles), Cree Summer (Susie Carmichael), and Kath Soucie (Phil and Lil DeVille) returning to reprise their roles.

Also on bard to lend their voices to the revival are Ashley Rae Spillers and Tommy Dewey (Tommy’s parents, Didi and Stu Pickles); Tony Hale (Chuckie’s father, Chas Finster); Natalie Morales, (Phil and Lil’s mother, Betty DeVille); Anna Chlumsky and Timothy Simons (Angelica’s parents, Charlotte and Drew Pickles); Nicole Byer and Omar Miller (Susie’s parents, Lucy and Randy Carmichael); and Michael McKean (Grandpa Lou Pickles).

Seven new episodes of the revival are set to premiere via Paramount+ on October 7.

Currently, there’s no word on when we might expect to see Rugrats season 2 debut via the streamer.
