16 musical acts make up the soundtrack for the book to film adaptation of Paper Towns which hits theaters in less than a month!

The Paper Towns soundtrack has a wide range of artists who’ve contributed a bunch of new songs for the film. Though we can’t listen to them all today, many of the songs sound like they’re related to the plot of the film (“Search Party,” “Taxi Cab,” “Runaway,” for example).

There are two notable inclusions: John Green’s favorite band The Mountain Goats have a song called “Used To Haunt,” and Paper Towns star Nat Wolff wrote a song with his brother called “Look Outside.” It’s at the end of the soundtrack, which may suggest it’s being used for the credits.

What do you think of the ‘Paper Towns’ line up?

While speaking with Green on the Paper Towns set, the author told us that if it were up to him the soundtrack would be all Mountain Goats. He (sort of) got his wish!
