Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti are two strangers stuck in an infinite time loop in the trailer for the Groundhog Day-esque romcom Palm Springs.

The film made Sundance Film Festival history when — on top of being one of the best-received films to play at the festival — it closed on the biggest deal in Sundance history, selling to Hulu and NEON for $17.5 million and 69 cents.

The film currently has a 100% on review aggregate website Rotten Tomatoes and will now be coming to TV screen near you in July.

Palm Springs follows carefree Nyles and reluctant maid of honor Sarah after they have a chance encounter at a Palm Springs wedding and things just get…weird.

Turns out both of them are stuck in a time loop as they find themselves unable to escape the venue, themselves, or each other.

Alongside Golden Globe winner Andy Samberg, best known for playing Detective Jake Peralta on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Palm Springs also stars titular mother on How I Met Your Mother Cristin Milioti.

Joining the two leads are Oscar winner J.K. Simmons (Whiplash), Meredith Hagner (Search Party), Camila Mendes (Riverdale), Tyler Hoechlin (Teen Wolf, Superman and Lois), and Peter Gallagher (Grace and Frankie).

Palm Springs is directed by Max Barbakow and written by Andy Siara. The film is produced by Andy Samberg, Becky Sloviter, Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone, Dylan Sellers, and Chris Parker, and Gabby Revilla Lugo serves as executive producer. The film is produced by Limelight and Lonely Island Classics with Neon serving as the theatrical distributor.

Palm Springs had its world premiere earlier this year at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival and will premiere for general audiences on July 10th on Hulu.
