Following new posters in recent days, a second full-length trailer for Disney’s highly-anticipated film Oz the Great and Powerful premiered today.

The Oz the Great and Powerful trailer begins with Oz (James Franco) in black-and-white, retro footage getting swept away by a hurricane and begging for a second chance at life. He’s then transported to Oz, where he meets Theodora The Good Witch (Mila Kunis). The film, as most know, is a prequel to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Oz the Great and Powerful opens March 8, 2013. The film was directed by Sam Raimi. Other stars in the film include Rachel Weisz as Evanora, Michelle Williams as Glinda, Abigail Spencer as May, and Zach Braff as Frank. The official synopsis reads as follows:

Hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he first thinks he’s hit the jackpot — until he meets three witches, Theodora (Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil and put his own magical talents to the test to transform himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz, but a better man as well.

How do you think this Oz film is looking so far? Will you catch it in theaters next year?
