Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ new trailer has just been released, so we’re taking a look at some of the best scenes and analyzing any potential Easter eggs.

This was certainly one of the most exciting new trailers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and there were a couple great scenes we want to take a second look at. Check out the scenes below as we analyze some specific scenes from the new trailer.

Who are you?

We hear Daisy Ridley’s character, Rey, being asked, “Who are you?” She replies, “No one,” but we imagine she’ll end up being one of the most pivotal characters in the film. She’s seen scaling down a rope, which looks very exciting, and her costume is revealed for the first time as well.

Kylo Ren will finish what Vader started

Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver, talks over a shot of Darth Vader’s destroyed mask and says he’ll finish what the dark side started. We’ve seen a shot of the helmet before, but his voice sounds chilling and we can’t wait to see what the incredibly devilish plan will be.

Oscar Isaac gets a bit too close to the dark side

Oscar Isaac’s character, Poe, seems to crash at some point and is approached by Kylo Ren. He seems to be in a lot of pain in the new trailer, and while we assumed he’d be on the good side of things, it’s possible he may end up giving some information to Kylo Ren that will help him in his attempt to defeat the young Jedis.

The stories are all real

In a pretty hilarious shot, we see the new Jedis asking about the “old stories,” and Han Solo replies saying, “They’re all real.” The way they’ve intertwined the old and new characters is super exciting, and we can’t wait to see this group of characters up on the big screen. It feels so good to see Han back in the game.

Han Solo takes the youngsters on a tour

After telling the two Jedi that all the stories are true, he seems to take Finn on a journey where they see a strange robot, and bring along a rolling ball robot of their own. Maybe we’ll get to see some history play out here, or Solo will introduce Finn to some old friends of his.

Leia reunites with Han

Leia is finally reunited with Han Solo in this latest trailer. It’s a heartwarming moment, as we see the two embrace. Carrie Fischer looks great, and seeing the two actors together again is going to be a huge pull for fans of the original films. Who knows where they’ll go with Leia’s storyline. She could have a larger role than we first imagined.

Finn to battle Kylo Ren

Finn looks a bit scared as Kylo Ren comes at him with his red lightsaber raised. While we imagine our hero Jedi will learn to use his powers, there might be too much to handle in his first fight (if this is his first fight) with the film’s villain. It looks like it will be an exciting fight and seeing it on the big screen should be one of the highlights of the film.

These are just some of the great scenes from the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer, so be sure to let us know if you spotted any other great shots (or Easter eggs) from the newly released trailer that we missed.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ release date is set for December 18, 2015. Early screenings are available at 7 p.m. on December 17.
