This week, Outlander is featuring a witch trial of Claire and Geillis, and things are going about as well as you might think.

In this first video, Claire lets Geillis know that no one is coming to their rescue despite what Geillis may think. Claire has information that Geillis doesn’t: that Jamie and Dougal were sent away from Castle Leoch by Colum. They are on the road to Dougal’s home where Colum has ordered them to stay until Dougal puts his affairs in order now that his wife has died.

In the second video, it looks like Geillis is starting to mistrust Claire. She wonders if it’s Claire who set her up to be captured. Claire assures her that it was Laoghaire and not her.

The really interesting bit, however, is the fact that Geillis tells Claire, “I kept your secrets Claire, you should have kept mine.” Claire must have admitted to Geillis that she told Jamie that she suspected that Geillis killed her husband. So, that would be the secret of Geillis’ that Claire revealed.

Now the thing is, what secret of Claire’s is Geillis referring to? As far as we know Claire hasn’t knowingly shared any secrets with Geillis. Geillis has certainly intimated that she knows more about Claire than she is revealing. Is this where we find out how much Geillis knows about Claire, and how she came about this information?

Clearly at some point either Jamie and/or Dougal will have to come to the rescue or we’d have no more episodes, but in the meantime, things are sure looking a whole lot more complicated as an angry mob confronts both Geillis and Claire. They don’t seem to be out for justice so much as they are out for blood.

Outlander airs Saturday at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Starz.
