The moment Outlander fans have all been waiting for is almost here and the episode in question will be coming with an extended runtime!

Ever since Starz revealed the first teaser for Outlander season 3, fans have been obsessing over one moment in particular. We’re talking of course about the shot which focuses in on the infamous wrought-iron sign that hangs on the awning of A. Malcom’s print shop.

As Outlander fans who’ve read the books will know all too well, the print shop is the location in which Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) finally have their long awaited reunion.

Given that the Frasers have spent a good chunk of season 3 separated by centuries, we’re sure we’re not the only ones looking forward to the long awaited reunion set to take place in episode 6.

The upcoming episode, aptly titled “A. Malcolm,” is set to air next Sunday (October 22), and the good news is, it sounds like Starz is planning to make sure Jamie and Claire get the reunion they deserve!

According to Entertainment Weekly, the series plans to mark the momentous occasion by giving the episode an extended runtime of 74 minutes, instead of the normal 60 minutes.

Additionally, Starz will run a mini Outlander marathon comprised of the first five episodes of season 3. It sounds like the perfect opportunity to relive some of your favorite moments of the season so far, or to catch up on any episodes you might have missed!

As exciting as the mini marathon is, we’re definitely looking forward to seeing how Outlander uses those extra 14 minutes they’re getting for episode 6 to give Jamie and Claire the reunion they deserve.

Outlander airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Starz.
