Outlander had some interesting happenings last night. We know we want to talk about it, and you’re invited to join us.

Talking Outlander is a fun, light-hearted, sometimes snarky, and slightly irreverent look back at the most recent episode. We hit everything from the most giffable moments to the best smoldering Jamie looks, while musing about the voiceovers and where the series is going. The main hosts are book fans. Some of us caught on back when the series first came out. Others of us are new converts. We love the series and have fun talking about the ups and downs.

Talking Outlander is branching out this week. We are adding in some guest hosts to give us the newbie male perspective on the series. Our very own Kyle from Hypable will be one of the featured guys.

This week we are doing a live version of Talking Outlander, our Outlander-centric Google Hangout that we co-host with That’s Normal.

Join us today, at 4:00pm EST/1:00pm PST on the That’s Normal YouTube Channel for a LIVE chat all about Outlander season 1, episode 3, “The Way Out”. You can find the link here once we’re live: http://bit.ly/talkingoutlander. We will also try to embed the footage on this post. Use the hashtag #TalkingOutlander to ask us questions on Twitter, and use the Google Hangout fancy Q&A to talk to us as we chat.

Outlander follows the story of Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743, where she is immediately thrown into an unknown world where her life is threatened. When she is forced to marry Jamie, a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior, a passionate affair is ignited that tears Claire’s heart between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.

The Outlander series, adapted from Diana Gabaldon’s international best-selling books, spans the genres of romance, science fiction, history and adventure into one epic tale. From Executive Producer Ronald D. Moore, new episodes of Outlander air Saturdays on Starz at 9 p.m. ET/PT in the U.S.

Don’t miss Outlander each week on Starz!
