Whenever a new trailer for a film comes out we’re always really eager to see what the studio will reveal in it. Although this trailer was only a minute long we still saw plenty of footage that made us excited for the film’s release in November.
Natalie Dormer as Cressida
We’ve been excited about Dormer playing this role ever since the announcement, and finally seeing footage of her being kick-ass is definitely one of the most exciting parts of this teaser. The actress shaved the sides of her head but maintained her hair on top, making for a great battle look.
Plutarch Heavensbee and Coin
Even though the sight of Coin gives us strong feelings of hatred, seeing her and Heavensbee together in the trailer make us look forward to their interactions in the film. Philip Seymour Hoffman’s portrayal of Heavensbee is something we can’t wait to see in light of his tragic death in February.
Mockingjay crop circle
Something that The Hunger Games movie franchise has always been able to pull off are the stunning visuals, so when we saw the crop circle in the shape of the mockingjay we just had to include it in our list of epic shots!
The beginnings of war
The war between the districts and the Capitol is the entire plot of Mockingjay, and previous to this we’ve only seen campaign footage from President Snow or stills of Katniss in action. But with this teaser we finally got to see the war we’ve been waiting for, and it looks epic.
Katniss Everdeen
We finally get to see Katniss when someone asks her if she’s going to fight with them. Not only do see see our hero, but the line “I am. I will” is one of the most exciting bits about this new trailer.
