The Oscars is back — and so is our drinking game!

Tonight, the 87th Academy Awards will celebrate all of the best performances, scripts and achievements in film over the last year. How I Met Your Mother alumni Neil Patrick Harris will host as Birdman, American Sniper, Whiplash, The Imitation Game, The Theory of Everything and more compete for the most prestigious awards in the industry.

But let’s be honest, the real questions we’re all asking aren’t which films will pick up the most Oscars. It’s whose name is going to be mispronounced? Will Angelina Jolie’s left or right leg be her plus one? And who will be the next victim of the now infamous ‘Cumberbomb’?

The Oscars is a long night. Thankfully, we’ve created a fun drinking game to help get you and your friends through all the awkward autocue jokes and the never ending list of names the winners would like to thank. To play, you’ll need a drink you can sip or down, and a drink to shot.

Take a sip…

Every time an acceptance speech is cut short by inappropriate music.
Every time Ryan Seacrest asks, “Who are you wearing?”
Whenever there’s a close up of Meryl Streep.
Every time someone’s name is mispronounced (take two if it’s John Travolta who mispronounces it).
Whenever The Academy is thanked in an acceptance speech.
Every time Jennifer Lawerence mentions food on the red carpet.
For every forced “so happy for them” face a losing nominee pulls.
Every time Giuliana Rancic forces someone to stick their hand in the mani cam.
Whenever a film is mentioned that you haven’t seen.

Have a shot/gulp…

Every time Neil Patrick Harris sings.
Every time Harvey Weinstein is mentioned.
For every actor who turns up sporting over-the-top facial hair.
Every time someone makes fun of Benedict Cumberbatch’s surname.
For every award you predict incorrectly.

Finish your drink…

Every time Benedict Cumberbatch photobombs.
Any time someone says, “Not quite my tempo.”
If “Everything is Awesome” wins Original Song.
When the obligatory selfie-stick selfie happens.

Drain your supplies…

If Jennifer Lawerence falls over. AGAIN.

Below is an easy to print graphic version of the drinking game, so you can play anywhere!
